Eventful Day
SoccerWent for soccer at 8 a.m to train a bit first before playing the friendly match at 9.15a.m.
Lost 7-3. What the hell I thought Qing Long said they're nerdy. Their ball control and heading very good, scoring 4 or 5 out of the 7 goals from header. Nevermind, not as if I am so interested in soccer ( my third favorite sport).
Basketball (immediately after soccer around 12+)Played some mini match with the people there. Wow! Having not play basketball ever since I quit the school team, I have improved a lot instead, especially my shooting. I have learnt the essence of shooting, though not yet perfect. The basketball now go straight and high and spin and just chop in the net.i think that's because I have more finger strength now. It's now around 88% in per shot.
Singapore Youth Flying Club (SYFC) (immediately after basketball)I played too long for basketball and i was going to be late. I quickly rush home and change without bathing and with my hair all messy, sweaty. I have to wear the ugly collared shirt ( my only one) as that's what I am instructed to do. When i got to the selatar camp main gate it was around 1.55 pm. Shit man ! I missed the SYFC private van.
Now I have to wait for the 103w bus but it's so long so i decided to walk instead. REALLY BAD IDEA. DAMN IT! The van usually take around 5 to 10 min to reach SYFC so i thought it's not that far. i was so damn wrong and what's worse is the SUN.
I walk. Ah ha! The board points that way 'SYFC'. So i follow theboard direction. BASKET! It's so long before i saw another board sign and by that time I am nearly dehydrated ( walked so long under HOT SUN). i flagged for taxi but all are hired. I walk while 'waiting' for the bus to reach the later bus stop. It never did until I reached the fifth bus stop which is just outside SYFC.
KAOZ. I should have waited for that damn bus though it's no difference in terms of time to reach SYFC. But it does have a great difference in terms of energy used.
It was 2.50 when i reached SYFC. Late by 20 min. The guard saw me sweating all over and my face all reddened. He asked,' you walk or take bus?'. When i said walk,he said i am stupid.
So i quickly go into the briefing room but they were all coming out. At least they have not departed. Then I was handed a letter saying I was shortlisted. I have to go for interview next month.
Saw a girl, Jamie. Used to be in Innova. She'sin Alpha and i am in Delta.I sat in the back seat with Nicholas. Rachael sat in front. I should have sat in front. More fun. get to fly a bit of the plane when in the air.
While on the air, I realised how small singapore is coz i can see it from one end to another end. The buildings, condos are just like small toys like that. Exciting. Then the pilot ( we got the best pilot) did some stunts like tight turning, diving and others. the feeling is like roller coaster ride. And during the tight turing, it's very difficult to move my had coz it's like binded to the seat.( got some kind of force acting against it). Flew pstNUS, Hwa chong, Zoo, St.john Island, Sentosa....Also saw Changi Airpot, pulau Tekong, Jurong Island, National Stadium. Basically all of Singapore and some parts of Indonesia .
To put it all in a nut shell, the ride is great, though Singapore is so small that there's nothing much to be seen except buildings, roads and trees+forest.
Going 'Home'I saw Jamie taking 168. Then I suddenly rush in to take 168 too thought i should take 39. I sat beside her in the bus. I broke the silence by......and we chatted in the bus until we reached woodlands interchange. She went to take MRT and i took back 168 to selatar camp. Then I realised I forgot to ask for her number....my friend will be disappointed.
