Real Sports Day Long time since I had a relaxed and fully maximised time....Soccer and basketball while sun-tanning, Brighton, and made many new friends and 1 new basketball friend

Soccer
Woke up at 8.30 am to play soccer with soccer gang till near 1pm. In quite a good form. Soccer skills improving with every training ( that's what Scott call it). Sun-tanning while playing coz under hot sun.

Planning to go Pulau Ubin to cycle with HSCS gang one day. Will try to ask them to play basketball too. Yi Cheng, Dennis,.. have not played with them for a long time.



Basketball
Straight after soccer went to play basketball. At this time, nobody to 1 on 1 with or play match but added 1 new person to my basketball friend list. 20 year old very tall. 1 on 1 with him.

He blocked almost every of my normal layup even after I went past him. He is tall. So found a new tactic to deal with him. Used my special 3-pointer and different kinds of layup so he can't block me. After trailing 0-3, I went on to win 7-6. While chatting with him, he started getting intimate with her girlfriend so I have to look away. Oh yeah he live in the same block as me.

Sun-Tanning while playing. Killing 2 birds with 1 stone.

Rushed home to get changed to meet Scott to go Brighton ( a church ). Wanna change church. Brighton is inside a shopping centre complex in paya Lebar just like New creation in Suntec City. Doubt I will wanna go back to the oldest church in Singapore. A bit far too.



Brighton
It's at 12 storey. It's quite high for a 12 storey when I looked down. Yan Jun, Candice, Kalis also from there.

People there are super friendly. Start shaking hands with them the moment I come.

Saw Yan Jun and I thought her first comment will be 'hey you're here' but she said 'Why you become so tall?'

The church a bit sexist. All boys and all girls CG (Cell groups not Civics group). Scott said because they scared BGR or is it can boys talk and girls talk easier. Think got a lot of pretty girls or maybe some, not really sure.

It's a Presbyterian church I think, very different from my Methodist church. I think it's a bit like City Harvest, for youth, just that not as many people as City Harvest( really a lot of youths there).

The people there speak in tongue which I don't know how, and they are super hyperactive. They jump when worshipping. Usually only see people raise their hands. The music really loud. Blasting into my ear.

First time see people fell when pastor touch their heads. Before that only hear before. People started crying and fell down. The work of Holy Spirit.

Most people didn't. When the person touch my forehead and pray for me I think I also feel like falling down but I resisted it.

Quite fun worshipping at such a high place. Got those glass plane so can look down at other buildings.

Exchanged handphone numbers with some of them but I think their main purpose is to make sure I will come to Brighton again. City Harvest people also like this.

Went to eat dinner with them after that.

Think I will go again next week but doubt I will go their Sunday service.

Quite special that church, maybe because I first time see such hyper teens worshipping God. So different.


Went home after that. And now time to watch TV. The Legend of the Arching Hero. Really fully maximised today's time. After that will be 11+. Will go to sleep.
