Big Day...Long post
Ate breakfast at macdonald at 6.

Simei...saw 1 team coming in. More and more team coming in as the train goes.

City hall...whole station packed with basketballer.

Orchard Road...came out... Wow...should look at the scene man. One whole stretch of road...basketballers marching. Everyone has the 'pro' face. Some just poser.

Took so long for the admin that competiton start 2 hrs later.

Saw many familiar faces... ex-ijcian 1st 3 months basketball team, Pasir Ris people, and so on and on and even IJC Miss Chua, basketball coach and national player.

After winning the 1st match, I felt a very sharp pain in my right foot.

Took my shoe off...whoa...my socks is filled with blood, and socks got stuck to my sole coz of the blood. My blisters are all bleeding. Horrified. The blood is still coming. Have difficulty walking. Was already limping. Freak....we got no sub.

Morale really very low coz I cant even walk...how to play...Still have to carry on playing no matter what.

After several more matches, my foot completely go numb. Can feel the socks wet with blood. Really feel like withdrawing.

During the matches, all I did was shoot and shoot and chop and chop. Thank God for my shooting.

Reached quarter final. Top 8 teams now. Not bad already. From so many teams. My guess is more than 50 teams. Around 100 teams. Saw from the fixure.

Watched Miss Chua play. She's violent. All the women especially those in the open category are fierce and violent. So much more than men. Her team is LC2. Ours is actually J2 but because of some reason changed it.

Jamie Yeo was the emcee for the event. She looks very pretty in person.

By the way, there are many obsence sences there. I saw so many things. Lazy to talk about that.

Miss Eunice Olsen the MP and Miss Singapore Universe was there as GOH.

There are really many pretty girls there. Almost everywhere. There's one girl in charge of the fixure who looks dman like the Kids Central Kim. I really thought was her.

She got approached by many guys. Some wanting her phone no. But she only give her email. I was looking at the fixure...learnt some skill from those guys in asking a girl's no.

Came back to look at the fixure again when Kim-look-alike asked me if I want somemore free drinks. Sweet. Didn't see her giving out free drinks for other people. So I took it. Then asked her if she was Kim. Answer is no. She's still pretty anyway.

Then a thought suddenly came to my mind. Get her number. Good chance. Can use the skill that I learnt. Then I think again...for what? Talked a bit more then go already. Nice of her to give me drinks...maybe I should have talked more to her.

Incredible how someone can look so much like another person.

At the start, the place is damn crowded. Thousands of people. Cool. Wacth some people play, most are pros, but nothing really special about there. So many people can slam dunk there. Coz the rim lower I think.

As time goes by, the place become less crowded as more and more teams go home.

Ben, KX, Jansen and his gf came to watch us.

To add to my very serious injury, I fell down once, knee-cap bleed. People can become so want to win that they will use dirty tricks sometimes.

Another very serious thing I must comment on...the referee sucks totally. BAS referee...wow. One referee allow something and another don't allow. And that cost us a place in the semi finals.

There was once match that we lost many pts because of that.

Because of the lack of time, they decided to skip the quarter fibnal and preced to the semi final, choosing those who have done better in the prelimary rounds.

We weren't chose coz out score difference is lesser than another team.

Maybe God wants me to stop playing because my injury is getting very serious. It's already a miracle that we can make it to the quarter finals with me half crippled. This is really the worst blister I have ever seen. Imagine, your blisters already so serious and you just continue to play throught the pain.

We were really disappointed that we're out of the quarter final when we didn't even play. Talk about that..there's one team that completetly walked over the whole prelimary rounds because all his opponents are absent. Absurd. Wonder what they did to their opponents.

But after really thinking, it doesn't really matter coz I can't do much with my injury. We might lose anyway.

But..if I am still okay...we could be in the semi finals...or even finals... even champion...because of my injury, my defence has weakened and result in our lower score difference. It's really within reach...just have to work hard. We're so close to it.

Another thing...whoa, feels so shiok to reject someone's ball. In all the matches, most of the things that I do is smack away someone's shot and shooting. Blocked quite many balls. In total...score about 20 points..much more than CG.

Wonder what's wrong with him...under performed and wasted so many balls.

Miss Chua's team went on to the semi final. I thought if her team become the champion of women's open and my team become champion of men's under-19...double ijc...Too bad.

Can tell she's quite unhappy with the referee. As a watcher, fully understand. That referee is simply lousy.

Another thing...those people in charge of the score record sucks too. They gave wrong points to wrong team and etc..for example Illusion won City Harvest 11-5. They recorded the other way round. They nearly submitted, when we pointed out. Lucky Illusion. During our matches, when we scored, the opponents 'score' instead. Lucky we were alert enough.

Overall...the whole event may look smooth with performances and music on while the matches go on...the inside stuff sucks. Refereeing, admin....and skipping of quarter finals...really very bad organiser.

Also about Miss Chua, we said hi to each other then the rest of the time just become dao. Then one time i walked past her and she called 'Jasper'. I didn't hear 1st. Then after walking some distance, I realise she just called my name. Too far to turn back. My slow reaction. \

Scared she think I purposedly don't answer her..

Got home...my ankle very pain coz I have been limping all the way after the 1st match till I got home. Took off socks quite difficult coz it is stuck onto my bloody wounds. Super horrified at the sight. it's still bleeding man.

I still got many things havent write...lazy to think already.

Oh yeah..damn smokers.

And oh yeah...when we were taking mrt home, I gave my seat to an indian elderly. He talked to me all the way to Tampinese. Realise he's a tourist from India. He praised Singapore about its cleaniness and kind Singaporeans. He's apparently very happy about my giving up my seat for him and kept on praise me. He talked to me about school, India and many more. Had difficulty listening to him coz he can't speak clearly.

Haha...felt proud that Singapore got praised because of me. Haha.
